| Tea Tree Oil: The natural oil from the Australian Melaleuca Alternifolia Tea Tree. Used for its high disinfecting, antibacterial, anti-fungal, self preserving and therapeutic properties. Treemenda Therapeutics is a line of quality Australian tea tree oil products that have at least 40 percent (40.7) terpinen-4-ol. Treemenda tea tree oil products are therapeutic because their oil exceeds the Australian standards of Approval. In 1985, the Standards Association of Australia prepared a firm set of standards for medicinal trade Australian tea tree oil which stated that in high quality oil the minimum amount of terpinen-4-ol must be 30 per cent. Terpinen-4-ol has been clearly identified as a major germicidal component of the oil with other factions having an anti-microbial effect. Alkyl Polyglycoside: A mild and organic surfactant made from the glucose of corn or corn sugar. Used for its gentle cleansing properties. Ammomium Chloride: An electrolyte used to thicken shampoos and cleansers by increasing the ionic strength of the solution. Apple Cider Vinegar: The fermented juice of apples. Used to lower the pH level of conditioners to help open and penetration the cuticle of the hair shaft. In shampoo, it also lowers the pH level and is used to help remove excessive oil from the hair and scalp. Avocado Oil: The natural oil of the avocado, high in free fatty acids and easily absorbed by the skin and scalp. Used for its moisturizing and conditioning properties. Cera Alba: Beeswax. Used as an emollient in conditioners and creams and for its array of multi vitamins. Cetyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride: Used in conditioners to help emulsify all the other ingredients together. Chamomile: A botanical extract used for its softening, soothing and conditioning properties for rough, irritated skin and scalp. Citric Acid: Usually used to lower the pH of the formula. Natually occurring, weak organic acid. Cocoamphodiacetate: A mild cleansing agent derived from Coconuts. Dandelion Leaf: A botanical extract used for its calming and soothing properties for rough, irritated skin and scalp. Deionized Water: The proper name for all types of water - purified, deionized, demineralized, spring water, etc. Used for its hydrating properties and to help blend all the other ingredients together. Extra Virgin Olive Oil: The natural oil from the first cold pressing of the olive. Used as an emollient in conditioners and creams and for its moisturizing and conditioning properties. Hexadecanol: An organic emulsifier derived from Coconut oil as a fatty acid. Used in conditioners to help blend all the other ingredients together. Lavender Oil: The essential oil from the lavender flower. Used for its exquisite floral and pacifying properties. Nettle Stem and Leaf: A botanical extract used for its therapeutic healing and dandruff preventing properties. Also helps stimulate the hair roots to promote healthier hair growth. Palm Kernel Oil: The natural oil from the kernel of the palm tree. Used in conditioners and creams for its moisturizing and conditioning properties and as an emulsifier to help blend all the other ingredients together. Palm Oil: The natural oil from palm trees.
